17 – 23 November is #SelfCareWeek an annual national awareness week that focuses on embedding support for self care across communities, families and generations.

Our libraries offer some great opportunities for self care, whether it’s our ‘Bite-sized’ self care guides, covering all manner of subjects such as menopause, burnout, sleeping well, and winter wellbeing, or why not check out our ‘Quick Reads’ fiction books, available in all 3 of our libraries.

The Evidence and Library Service also has a wide variety of books to help with mental health as part of the ‘Reading Well’ collection. These collections cater to adults, children, teens and families. https://www.evidentlybetter.org/wellbeing-collections/

Our libraries offer a relaxing, quiet space away from the office or ward where you can take some time out of your busy day to recharge your batteries. Why not spend a few moments helping to complete our latest jigsaws?
