Mental Health Awareness Week

By 11th May 2026Latest News

11 – 17 May is Mental Health Awareness Week. The theme this year is ‘action’. Even small actions can help us feel hopeful and less powerless. And while our individual actions matter, when we come together we are even more powerful.  For more info go to https://www.mentalhealth.org.uk/our-work/public-engagement/mental-health-awareness-week

Mersey Care staff can access a vast range of books, eBooks, and journals about mental health, as well as point of care tools ClinicalKey and BMJ Best Practice.

Why not visit one of our 3 libraries, a relaxing welcoming space where you can take time out from the busy ward / office, sit and read one of our ‘Quick Read’ fiction books or our ‘Reading Well’ collection, or help to complete the current jigsaw for a moment of mindfulness.

Keep an eye on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/evidentlybetter for details of resources available.
